sig love

Jay,

What are you using to generate the sig at the bottom of your posts. Is it using the same tech you used to create the gifs for shoutclub? I really would like something like this again...

Reason for crash? I don't run RTB on the same box as SAM/Winamp... It wasn't RTB that crashed but some other program that caused the lockup. It would be nice for any type of system recovery... I'll download the fix for the live365 issue, but the reason for THAT problem: Either my Cable service, or H...

Jay, Is there any way that you can put a log parser that runs on entrance of the program? I've had a couple of crashes, and it would be nice if RTB would go back and gather up all the old information from the log when the program starts. Also, can there be something in the config that can be set for...

I really didn't mean a separate session, but more along the lines of multiple files to the same server. The new "current stats" rock, but could you add current listeners to that output? I usually just minimize the main proggy, but keep the stats open on windows....

First of all, the program is working flawlessly, and you were VERY smart putting that copyright notice in your program output! I have a couple of other feature requests. Can you make <!--Peak Hour Listeners--> <!--Peak Day Listeners--> tags or something similar. I'd like to have multiple outputs as ...

Chris,

I thought the whole thing was done well for throwing it together as fast as you had too, and I personally had no hard feelings for the rating of my station. My whole post was an attempt at empathy for a fellow caster that felt slighted. Please don't take my post as a negative one.

come on guys, I mean really, I realize that you may be unhappy with the result and well as a judge we are entitled to our own opinions. Once again we have someone who took it way too seriously. I only did as the host asked me, the judges were not previewed to any rules but the ones outlined by the ...

I had my schedule veto'd by the boss (wife), so I didn't get to listen to the gong show live. I did cast save it, and seeked until I got to my station rating. I must say, your gonging without comment is rather weak, and the "panel" should have given some sort of criticism as to why you wer...

Download Winamp 3 beta. Something like that is already in there, primative, but I imagine they are working on it. Makes since anyway. Jays tool was pretty cool, but I quit using it as well after shoutclub's dir services went away.

Vorbis question

A lot of it depends on your source mp3s. Vorbis claims to give you 128kbs mp3 quality at 64kbs, so if you have 128s, don't stream over 64kbs on Vorbis. I listened to a 80VBR cast that Ari was testing, and it sounded excellent. I'm not sure the advantages of lower bitrates using vorbis. Sounds like s...
