in that case you can setup an ftp server on the broadcast system and have the encoder reference the show as a file and each time it cycles through it will just pull from the file. If you need scheduling capabilities you might check out SAM broadcaster for that.

look in the includes.php file that was generated by the catcher, the online switch is there you just have to script for it.

Well it would take some coding and work but you could have a main encoding system feed music all day long and then with a login or query command to a SAM system have the SAM system switch over to the user who queried it. It isn't easy going this route without alot of technical knowledge. However if ...

well if it helps to decide you need to determine what it is you are wanting to gain from such a service. How do you invision this service enhancing your site's services. If they are just doing a series of shows podcasting may be the way to go. If you want a radio experience then streaming is the way ...

the next version has more advanced on-demand capabilities so yes it will be possible to stream just about any streamable media format in steamcast. As far as I am aware it is not possible to stream nsv on-demand in SHOUTcast.

yea, I am not sure what you are trying to ask for, steamcast already handles most of all that. The only outstanding feature request is the intro file backup file capabilities.

As far as the admin interface, the next build already has a few options that allow you to edit a few of the settings in ...

Steamcast supports Icecast2 source tools so you should have no problem there. Not sure about shoutcast though.
