that looks normal. the warnings are not important and will not stop steamcast from running properly.

Simply connect a source and you should be ready to go.

a static version will be available on the next release. I am still working on that release so no timeframe yet. Is it skipping or buffering? If skipping, does the absense of the metadata flag provide a stable stream?

I am not sure what is in your xml sheet but you would probably need to poll it for changes unless it shows the time left for the song. An application can poll then submit the changes by url to the server. I am not aware of any application that does this though. As it is a fairly trivial process ...

if the source is in shoutcast compatibility mode then the username is not used from the encoder. Just set this to yes and change the username to whatever you want. Your encoding tools should work fine so long as the password is correct on the encoder side.

SourceBackup needs to be an existing mount such as /live.mp3

The backup mount must have the same encoding/codec settings as the original mount.

hmm interesting, the thread could be dying on the failure. I'll check my code.

There are no plans to support jetcast. From what I have seen jetcast appears to be a dead project.
