you can pretty much follow the oddcast guide I have in the documentation. It is not really that different from using shoutcast. Just make sure that your passwords are all different in the the steamcast configuration. If you have a specific problem that you are stuck on feel free to ask.

For each ...

oddcast is a drop in replacement for the SHOUTcast DSP and will work just as good as it does. No one is talking about your switching servers. There is just no way to apply that data without a middle man. The article I was referring to was the SHOUTcast Streaming Standard Article. Give it a good read ...

you would need a program to translate the xml sheet to a url and post it to the shoutcast server. You can read up in the Articles section about how the SHOUTcast protocol basically works and how you might be able to script or program a very simple tool to do this. Oddcast v3 might be able to do for ...

You just add a new SourceMount section, Read the documentation located at the left. I have included examples of how to do that.

yes all of those things are possible but and the timezone thing would be reletively easy to implement but the graph changes would take a reworking of the service which I plan to do soon. Stay tuned.

Well you can only list one mount on shoutcast. It is a limitation of their YP not my server. You can get by this by getting multiple IP addresses and assigning each mount it's own IP by using SourceIP, but only use this if you have multiple IP's to bind to.

The easiest thing to do is to get the default config file from the steamcast download and start all over again, this time only configure sourcepass and your admin user and pass and see if it lists then.

No I was asking if you have, if you haven't then you should be able to list on shoutcast. Post the part of the log where you connect to the source and list on the directories. Something in the config is set somewhere to stop steamcast from attempting to list there.
