well if you ban an agent it will pretty much not allow that person to connect with that agent. They can connect with any other player and their IP is not banned.

well you would have to contact the author and ask for them to support steamcast. The thing is steamcast already has this capability without using this script, you just have to add the agents you want banned to your ban list.

yea I am not sure what to say about that, you may need to contact SpacialAudio through their support channels and let them know about it. Could be a bug in their XML processing.

it is not neccessary to define shoutcast in the Directory config, remove

Directory=http://yp.shoutcast.com

it is not needed. SourceIsDefault=Yes is all that is neccessary.

If I remember right, if you use the admin password it should give you a list of all mounts to choose from even if there is only the one. Also make sure you are correctly selecting the steamcast option and not say shoutcast or some other server type.

no, ftp can only do one file currently. I would highly recommend the use of scripting for any further needs beyond the one file stat page.

well, you need to check and see what transfer limits there are, also you must always keep the limit 80% of the maximum advertised card throughput.

hmm that looks like mp3 toolbox to me. Radio toolbox is a standalone application for Windows. Mp3 Toolbox is php scripts.

However, given that I still don't see how I could accurately come up with the uptime for a server. I'll think on it though.

well that is merely a yp restriction, it is based on the fact that people would grossly misconfigure their servers and the belief at shoutcast is that most people don't have that kind of bandwidth on a single server.

the limit is really dependent on the OS TCP stack and the machine. I have only tested the server as far up as 1000 listener concurrent on a single mount. If anyone benchmarks higher I would be interested in the results.
