1) SourceMount is the reference mount for that particular stream
so yea you got it right. The .pls file is just a playlist shoutcast's mounts are always root or /.

2) Ondemand doesn't work well in steamcast yet. I don't advise messing with it.

3) Yes, just setup multiple SourceMount definitions ...

cancelling occurs when a check process hangs, this can be caused by a very slow response from the server.

1. Tune ins are how many times someone has listened to your stream.
2. Not yet, but it is planned.
3. Just use an embed or object tag, check google for embedded windows media player. Many resources are available on how to embed an object. The only java player I know of is freedomaudio.

1. someone is connected to your stream using a download manager called get right. Google Get Right to find more info on that particular client. I am not fully aware of all the different clients that can connect to steamcast but they are many.

if you have a station and are linking to us then you can add your station to the Directory. Which would be a relevant cross-link. Using our forums for any service or product exposure is not really relevant to the forum's purpose.

take your pick, there are tons to choose from. Windows Media would probably be the most user friendly as far as the server goes. We have steamcast which is setup similar to shoutcast but has more features. There is also icecast. It really is up to your preference and which one you think you can get ...

that is because for steamcast listings the max users are set by the sourcemaxuser setting. You can change the overall which will restrict the overall amount of listeners on the server but does not change the max user of individual sources.

no data flow means that the reciever has stopped accepting packets. In other words your write buffer is full. Sounds like a network issue. Does this occur if you use 127.0.0.1 to listen?
