most reasons for being banned are due to content, technical problems, or cheating/hacking.

how long have they been connecting when you see that figure. Remember that steamcast pushes as much data as the client can handle when they initially connect so their reported transfer will be higher then the bitrate of the stream at that point. However it should settle back after a few minutes.

Is it relaying a SHOUTcast server? If so the MetaInt in that SHOUTcast server needs to be set to either 8192 or 16384.

when you say lag are you referring to the delay? If so set the SourceBufferUtil to a smaller value if you want less buffer up to the clients.

just keep trying, I wish I could just unleash it but I think it would get bogged. I'll bump up the limit a little later and try it out.

Set the SourceAuth to Yes

Then use the admin panel to add your users. Make sure you specify the sourcemount name for each user.

in other words, if that figure makes no sense to you, just ignore it. It doesn't mean anything is wrong nor does it indicate a problem in the server just the way that it is tabulating the bandwidth usage.

I would read the docs at http://www.radiotoolbox.com/docs/index.php?p_id=4

If you have any specific questions regarding the use of the server I would be happy to help.
