your host might have you in a private network, even though you don't physically own your own router, some campus networks and other system just use a private network to get all their users online.

it would be quite impossible for steamcast to just do this on it's own

I use signal() to register to interrupt SIGUSR1 and SIGTERM as well as SIGHUP and SIGPIPE. (SIGWINCH is a typo in the logging, it's actually SIGUSR1)

Steamcast does not itself generate any of these signals to itself nor does it ...

in order to continue listing on yp's needing stats there will be no open source Steamcast in the forseeable future. Besides if you need something open source just use Icecast2.

the only one I know if is ezstreamer but you still need the theora encoder.

Ogg theora has never been tested in steamcast so it will be interesting to see if I can get a report that it actually works.

you'd have to contact oddsock on his forums about that. I have no real dealings with it, all I know is you have to have the correct version and it has to be in the winamp directory. Not the plugins directory if I remember right. Otherwise you can try using the SHOUTcast dsp plugin, it will work with ...

well if you are going to broadcast out to the internet you will have to setup your linksys router to allow steamcast to accept connections. This is done by using the port forward feature of your router.

Once you have that you can list on steamcast or shoutcast and tune in from there. Or you can go ...
