you configured it wrong, don't double up entries in the configuration file like that, steamcast reads the configuration file from top to bottom and with your config as you have it you are basically setting up 2 sources with the first one not having any configuration.

are you referring to the ice-description capabilities? Steamcast can only do that if you use the Icecast2 protocol to send a stream to steamcast.

Something you might try is disabiling NameLookups if you have it enabled. This is what this post was actually in reference to, although I had not seen evidence of a problem in a while. well the problem truely is multicast is not available to everyone on the internet. So in effect, you would be cutting out audience if you went that route.

tested with the latest oddcast v3 with Vorbis and Mpeg encoding using both Icecast2 and SHOUTcast settings and I get now playing info. I cannot fix what I cannot duplicate.

Are you certain that the encoder is passing it on to the stream. If you use OGG it should as Steamcast does not modify the now ...

no, aim, icq etc are entries I consider to be static plus SHOUTcast specific. Streamhits is also a shoutcast specific capability. Again these are all reasons I cannot add them to Radio Toolbox.
