well it works, just winamp is not going to give you a dialog to enter in your authentication information, just use the parameter fields as I stated.

You'd have to check the server logs. Post them here if you can't spot the problem.

if you are using the script interface you can do anything you like.

Well your config looks good.

Try switching the server type in the Oddcast settings to SHOUTcast.

post your steamcast.conf file and be sure to remove any passwords in the document.

does the meta data text window show anything in the oddcast plugin main window?

Also have you allowed it to change song a couple of times. Meta data typically doesn't change until the first song change.

make sure you set it up to list in the yp's

Not sure I have not really tested Winamp's NSV support with Authentication. You may need to give the username and password in parameter fields. I'll play with it later and see if I can figure anything out. For now just make sure you have the latest version of winamp.

steamcast is not totally like shoutcast in this way. Each stream has a mount. If you don't know your mount, simply open the steamcast config file and look for SourceMount= the text to the right is your mount.
