no, neither steamcast.vip nor steamcast.ban are neccessary to stream or get listed on a yp. If you are annoyed with the message you can either create bans or vip's from the admin panel or create the empty files yourself.

ok I see the problem. You don't need to setup the FTP service if you are using the script service. You have your FTP service overwriting the catcher.php file.


Empty out all of the fields on the FTP service page and then reupload a new catcher.php from the Radio Toolbox install.

What error do you get when going to the script?

You could try installing the latest gcc.

the stream you are seeing uses uvox. This is a specially designed shoutcast server built into a router, there is no version available to the general public.

I would highly suggest you use some other server like steamcast or icecast2 if you want greater control over the mounts.

ok well you should have a includes.php file up there as well, typically it is in the same directory as your catcher.php script.
