well the good thing is steamcast.com is customizable based on your player preference seeing as we have no concern for media player tools :)

So if you are looking for streams for windows media check out www.steamcast.com

hmm does it always display that there are no sources when in relay? Or is this happening after a relay get's booted or dropped by it's master server?

As for the API, it's going to take time. I have to focus on core functionality before getting to the api stuff.

ok after many complaints about the dark colors at steamcast.com I have changed the colors to a lighter style. Let me know your thoughts. I know it might not make everyone happy but at least this is legible.

already does this, ban User-Agent. However user-agents are not a very good way of determining if someone is streamripping you. The best thing to do is read my article in the artciles section of this forum about thrwarting streamrippers.

well you would have to connect as an Icecast source. The problem with this is if you are using mp3 you will break streamtitles (steamcast doesn't handle icecast's method of accepting streamtitles from the source yet). I hope to have this fixed soon.

You can play with SourceBuffUtil

This will give you control over how much server buffer is used. Setting this to 0 effectively removes the QoS buffer, so your clients will have to wait longer before hearing any audio on connect.

Perhaps a setting of 25 (percent) would be better?
