Once you understand the language itself setting this up will be tremendously faster.

make sure you remove all lines above the php block. There should be no empty lines at the top of the file

yea you are missing a bunch of quotes, recopy it from the code bin and make sure you get exactly what you see there.

you could be behind a proxy, try setting Yport to 666 rather then 80.

you are missing the <? and ?> tags at the beginning and end of the script.

is there anything in the includes.php file, if not then check your script service output in the Current Stats window (ALT+C).

You will want to link to the whatimplayin.php script in your image tags, the songband is only there as a resource of that script.

as far as staying up with music it will all depend on what music you want to stay up with, what genre? Just general top 40 you can hit sites like billboard or other music news sites, but with out specific interest in a certain genre it will be hard to get info.
