wow, that is certainly interesting. I have RTB running on a Win2k server machine and a WinXP machine and have yet to come accross something like that, however I do not have any failures in the connection to the server. I'll look over my code and see if I can pinpoint a possible cause.

What is the ...

well as I said despite what you see on the shoutcast page audio data is not making it to the server, that is why it just disconnects.

How are you getting the audio signal from BPM studio to SHOUTcast, is there some sort of plugin in BPM studio or are you using Winamp?

well I don't know anything about BPM studio but that error essentially means you are connecting but your DSP plugin is not sending audioi data to the server. So make sure that you are in fact playing music when you connect.

yes, that would be radiotoolbox, in all honesty live365 should be ignoring connects that are less then 5 or 10 secs, as those can be seen as anomolies. But the reason why radiotoolbox does this is to varfy that you are online or offline, because if RTB was to just trust the stats page there is no ...

i'll look into it a little further, I think it may be a bug in the way I am capturing the data stream in the server. I'll notify the discussion list when I think I have a fix for it available.

yea I haven't finished that stat yet, the stat essentially will tell you which songs people are connecting to your stream at and which songs seem to be making the most people leave. When it's finished it will start collecting that information immediately.

I don't think so but just to be on the safe side, in Notepad you can turn Word wrap off by going to Format -> Word Wrap. You might look over the file and make sure nothing weird is going on. If you are still having issues, go ahead and post your config.php file just asterick out the password and ...

well I just put your url in my rtb app, and removed the username and password from the application and it worked. You should see that my current song is going through.

Are you sure you set the $rtb_user and $rtb_pass variables in the config.php file?

scrap what you got and download www.radiotoolbox.com/radiotoolbox/rtb_catcher_php.zip

re-extract and reconfigure it. Also be sure to use a username and password, not just nothing.
