PLS files are just pointer files so they don't mask anything, they just make it easier to access the stream.

you can try the CD_Reader plugin for winamp, this actually processes the audio through Winamp, so you can use DSP's EQ, and other stuff on the signal. Or you can set the DSP to live mode and record it as it is coming off your sound card.

this happens because you have a dynamic IP address that is given to you by your Internet Service Provider.

You will have to consult with your ISP about making the IP static or always the same, some will allow this for a fee some do not.

Vince, that's a good attempt however there is one problem, 'netstat'

this command will tell anyone the IP of the server they are listening to.

This is why the server itself must handle the traffic, but it should do for now just don't rely on it as a long term solution. BTW what's the difference ...

In Winamp Pres CTRL+L and then type in linerec://
Click OK if it doesn't say Line Recording in Winamp then go to the shoutcast dj downloads section at Shoutcast.com and look for the line recording plugin.

sounds like you have a song that has a ' in it that is getting by the filtering functions, it's either that or some other weird character in a song title that is causing php to get confused. Next time you get the parse error, try to save a copy of the include.php file and post the contents of it ...

well when it comes to live365, the stats it gathers is based entirely on the username and password you enter in, so you can put someone elses stream in there and then your username and password and get your stats only. But when that stream goes off the air then it will stop gathering stats for that ...
