Re: Radio Toolbox v.2

Yep, I have pulled my brother into the project so hopefully we can get things moving, we are reorganizing and restructuring things at the moment but once we get all the systems in place we will start cracking on finishing the code. Hopefully that process begins this weekend.

Re: Nothing connects, I think.

When does the segfault occur? Immediately? When a source connects? Listener? Also I need system details. Thanks.

Re: Radio Toolbox v.2

It's coming, I promise, I might have something in a few weeks. I have been completely busy with other projects. However in the next week or so things should slow down a little.

Hmm it looks like a 64bit system. Try running in an earlier version of windows compatibility. Windows 2000 perhaps.

Made some changes to the interface. You are now required to login to use this tool and the tool will only display streams you queue.

Re: Fixed delay streaming?

Unless you are writing the player you really have no control over the delay at the client side.

Are you looking for synchronization amongst clients? This is very difficult to achieve simply because of the way most client applications work.

Re: ustream vs paid streaming hosting

The only disadvantage to using your own hosting is cost. Obviously the issue with UStream is that you are under their system. You have little control on how to distribute since it requires your viewers going to Ustream to tune in. From a hobby standpoint though, UStream is a good option.

Re: Anoying logspamming by Radio Toolbos

Well abuse can occur with any tool. I can write in rate decreases on invalid server responses in the future but at the end of the day the product is going to behave the way the user wants it to.

Re: stats grab creating false listener?

Radio Toolbox makes a quick tune in to all streams it monitors. This has an important purpose in both verifying the server is actually a true audio server and making sure that it is really online and available. Things you can do to avoid this would be to lengthen the amount of time between each ...

Re: "Audio stream sounds distorted" problem.

Are you certain the drivers for your audio card are up to date? Try running from a source other than the audio card to see if it disappears.
