Re: streamcast server problem
I am not seeing any specific error. it looks as though steamcast is binding to the port properly. Check to ensure that there is no firewall enabled.

Re: Shoutcast server is working but still won't play on my site
ok so you need to setup a patch cable from the output of the secondary card which will be assigned to skype. Then set your broadcast software to record from the input that the patch cable is plugged into on your primary card. Your mic output needs to be turned up on the secondary card as well.

Re: Shoutcast server is working but still won't play on my site
That is because you need a secondary audio card to broadcast both you and your guests. The issue is that you can only have one recording device selected at any given time. Re: Shoutcast server is working but still won't play on my site
In order to show up on AOL's SHOUTcast site you need to leave the server up for at least an hour.

SCDC is a dead project. I will probably add something like this in the new Radio Toolbox.

Re: .asx files
As long as your icecast server is streaming in mp3 it should work fine to do that.

Re: need to write receiver of streaming audio
There are tons of protocols and formats it just depends on what you care or are willing to support.
Something I am using in the next version of Radio Toolbox is BASS. It is pretty much a backend media player giving you all the functionality without any of the work. There does appear to be a Java ...

Re: Relay on another format
You could just have a separate installation of winamp tuned into the primary stream and restreaming in AAC+. Oddsock has one http://www.oddsock.org/tools/streamTranscoderV3/ if you would prefer to not have winamp tuned in all the time.

Strange. Well I caught the end of your show and didn't see any special characters, your server is in my list now at least so I can catch it later.

Re: Special characters
Ah yea, Steamcast and Icecast support in Radio Toolbox is pretty flaky with 1.1.1. They were kind of wedged in there after the product had been developed just for SHOUTcast. Another reason why I am working on a total rewrite.
Your stream has been down both times I have checked the server so far.

I need feeds that are running international characters, so if you are running one with lots of artists with international characters please post them. I am testing Unicode support in the new Radio Toolbox.
