all steamcast mountpoints must have a password. I would redownload the distribution and look at the example provided. SourcePass is the config item to look for.

That is because it accepts either a shoutcast or icecast2 source.

ok looking at your log it appears that steamcast is making a successful connection to the master server but for some reason it is not receiving any data. Have you tried relaying this server with shoutcast on the same machine to rule out a networking problem?

the ways in which steamcast identifies who is assigned to where is through the control panel's auth list. The mount needs to be specified correctly in order to work. Tuning in now it appears that you have disabled authentication.

Well I would suspect that your friends are not tuning in the proper way or there might be something else going on that is causing them to not be able to tune in such as a firewall or proxy setup. Many companies will block non-standard ports as well, so you might try broadcasting on port 80 to see if ...

Who ever told you that was misinformed, Windows media player can listen to an mp3 stream from shoutcast just fine.

try tuning in direct to the mount point /live instead of the default mount (/).

it means that steamcast is not able to bind to your extra ip's. I would double check to make sure that they are configured correctly in steamcast and in your system.

From a technical standpoint it is possible but not with current tools. Most players wouldn't even support it anyhow. The only universal way would be through ID3v2 however most players do not support instream ID3v2 tags.

That script does not rely on any of our services so no. Check with your webhost provider and see if there have been any changes to the php configuration.
