Re: Frequently Error Message

We're looking into it. Unfortunately, Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft. So some bugs that exist on XP are becoming more apparent.

Re: Frequently Error Message

In Windows XP you should be able to see it in the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.

The minimum for Radio Toolbox v2 is 4.0.

Hi, thank you for using Steamcast.

1. Yes, Opus is supported and as long as there isn't major structural changes to the codec it should work fine.

2. That kind of problem is generally at the encoder or decoder level. Check your encoder's settings. Also, if your using a browser with Opus some ...

Re: painful latency

Hi,

At 32kbps the latency is most likely due to the buffer. Steamcast currently has a hardcoded buffer size. This will be adjustable in future versions.

Re: Relay not getting listed

With SourcePublicX the only valid values is "Always" or "Never", as its an override. Otherwise, it defaults to whatever ICY/ICE public flag it gets from the Source.

Re: Any scripts to show current track/last play tracks?

Some hosts block certain outbound ports. Especially if they use something like ConfigServer Security & Firewall. So it'd only be able to connect if your Steamcast was on a standard port like port 80.

Re: RTB v2 not connecting to your end...

What this is stating is your computer doesn't trust the certificate on our server. This certificate that the Radio Toolbox application is communicating with is a LetsEncrypt certificate. You can see a similar certificate in use here . If your using IE or Chrome it should say its not trusted because ...

Re: CPU going high 100%+

Ok, I believe 1.0.2 will have fixed this problem for you. We had a Socket leak that would allow Steamcast to fail to close sockets on Linux. This has been fixed in an update build of 1.0.2 as described in the announcement.

We just pushed a small, but very important, update to 1.0.2 for Linux that fixes a Socket leak.

It is advised that anyone using the Linux builds updates to it. On the About page for this update the build date will show as January 11, 2016.
