Re: so many problems
The IP that is used by Radio Toolbox is your own IP. Our servers don't currently run checks outside of the Stream Test on this website. Most of these errors are normal. Post #10758 , this means that the computer running the Radio Toolbox application couldn't communicate with that server. Post #10759...

Re: Ondamar80
Are you trying to use the Radio Toolbox application to do this?
The reason I ask is you posted this in the General Discussion forum, not the specific Radio Toolbox application forum.

Re: connection problems
If you are hosting this from a home connection you might need to port forward through a router. Those instructions would be dependent on your make and model of router. Based on the IP in your original post it appears to be a residential connection according to RIPE. For your second question, do you ...

Re: connection problems
You might check that your port 8000 is able to be seen from the internet using Port Check.
It also appears you need to set "Hostname" in your steamcast.conf. It needs to be a valid domain name as required by the Directories.

Hi,
This is SHOUTcast and not Steamcast. So I've moved this to the general forum around Audio Streaming.
If you are renting this server from a provider, which this looks to be, then you need to contact their Customer Support.

- Max

Re: Problems with single quotes in metadata transmission
Hi, I'm looking into this. However, what is likely happening is that we have code that replaces the single quote with another single quote that doesn't interfere with ICY metadata. We have to do this due to ICY metadata reserving to itself the single quote to specify the length of the string for wha...

Re: Icecast2 no listener numbers
Hi,
We've traced the likely issue being that Icecast has changed their methods for displaying stats. We will be looking into providing an update to improve compatibility with this latest change.
Affected versions are Icecast 2.4+.

Re: Icecast2 no listener numbers
If you have a login to the Icecast2 server for admin then you could attempt that. Otherwise, yes, it'd be wise to be cautious about the hosting provider. Streaming Hosts should offer a demo stream. You can always use that to add to the Radio Toolbox application and see if it can read the stats sheet.

Re: Icecast2 no listener numbers
Modified builds, such as Karl's, are known to modify the stats sheet making it unreadable by the Radio Toolbox application. scoastbroadcasters, can you PM me the address for your stream so that I may examine the stats sheet? If your renting the server it may be that the host provider removed the sta...

We're looking into it. Unfortunately, Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft. So some bugs that exist on XP are becoming more apparent.

In Windows XP you should be able to see it in the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
The minimum for Radio Toolbox v2 is 4.0.
