Re: last played
All I get is -- this failed :( Should i see the hits from the script turning up in the server event log? Because I think it isn't hitting the server. I can see radio toolbox turning up in the event log and it is looking at admin/status.xml -- i think your script is looking for json -- if that was th...

Re: last played
Sorry Jay, I'm trying to get the "now playing" scripts that are posted on other topics in the steamcast section to work. The ones that pull from the steamcast server itself... I only used the old radio toolbox v1 as an example of what level i'm at... I'm no code wizz and had no issues gett...

Hi Guys, I'm having no end of trouble trying to get the "now playing etc" scripts found (on other posts) to work. I was left wondering if it was me so I dusted off the old radio toolbox (V1) and installed php to my website. It worked first go. Is there are "php for dummies" zip f...

Hi guys, I'm having trouble when Steamcast is installed on Windows 10 Home. Everything installs ok and if you use default passwords etc it works fine. I get into serious trouble when I setup users for an encoder to push to. To make this interesting somethings will change in the config and some will ...

Re: Icecast2 no listener numbers
Thanks Max... looks like I'm doomed as I think I'm on a modified version. Is there a work around or do I just need to be cautious who's icecast hosting I sign up for?

Re: Icecast2 no listener numbers
I think I might be a different story --- server_id - Icecast 2.3.3-kh5. I didn't get a say in it. That's just what the hosting people give you..

Re: Icecast2 no listener numbers
I'm having the same problem too. Trying to add Icecast 2 servers. They are mine and I am entering the right password and user name into the info for my stats sheet. Am I missing a trick somewhere? I noticed even the shoutcast ones don't appear if there is no one listening. So I've made sure there wa...

Re: Catering for dial up listeners.
I've had the same experience too. The best combination is 24k mono @ 22050 sample rate for dialup and people with non aac+ capable players. Some mobile phones need an extra app to do aac+. Also for people that are straight out of the box with a new PC. Then 64k stereo 44khz sample rate AAC+ for thos...
