The problem is that its just way too easy to figure out where the connection is coming from to your computer even if you embeded the player.

So I've been messing around with it a bit more and its pretty good. Doesnt display tracks but it works. This can be usefull for someone who is not allowed to install aps (Real Player, Winamp) on their computers at work, office, library and etc :)

The only way I can see it being done is through server push, Java or Flash. There is no way to have dynamic content through straight html or even SSI.

Id like them to try get any money out of me  . Unless they stop my bandwidth provider Im streaming 24/7. If this does go through this pretty much kills any chances of a legitimate web cast as I cant see any hobby webcaster being able to afford the royalities. One thing for sure is that once...

Hmm Im not sure what its suppose to be but I can see that you can set track time to count backwards to 0. Is that the time for all the tracks in a playlist or is that just one huge mp3.

Vorbis question

Looks like streamguys are offering Vobris relays with Icecast2. Im just wondering if I have to re encode my music to Ogg or can I use the Oddcast DSP and use my already riped Mp3's. If I can use my mp3's will the OGG stream sound the same at 32K mono or better.

Did you notice the part where VX2 will record the text in web form that you fill out. Like what you search for on search engines, so now think about web based email, it all forms

To fadeout or not

Hey

Some of my tracks fade out at the end and some just end right away. which sounds kinda lame sometimes. Would I be better off to just make all tracks fade out at the end?
