Re: MPD as source works
You might consider cleaning up the tags in the file then, Steamcast is beholden to the source as to the legitimate track separation points. I would imagine that this is implemented in MPD this way because multiple tracks could be in a single file. If they are doing this in MP3 files at ID32 and ID3...

Re: MPD as source works
I've just been testing MPD and it seems to work fine with Steamcast. I've only tested it with ogg stream since thats what Im running atm. I did have an issue with makiing the station title a link to my site. In MPD there's a url peramater but its not being picked up by the YP directories. I had the...

Re: Any scripts to show current track/last play tracks?
Some hosts block certain outbound ports. Especially if they use something like ConfigServer Security & Firewall. So it'd only be able to connect if your Steamcast was on a standard port like port 80. I've had that script running before on this host. I've used them for 7+ years. Atm its easier t...

Re: Any scripts to show current track/last play tracks?
Hmm the host says the server can be seen from the shared host and no fw blocking of the IP. Odd I guess I'll try out a cheap host and test out.

Re: Any scripts to show current track/last play tracks?
Looking at your error log it appears you have it configured to pull from: http://ice.futureassassin.com:8000/ Which according to my quick check doesn't exist. You will need to adjust the script to pull from play.futureassassin.com:8000 That was an old log entry. I fixed that right away if you see i...

Re: Any scripts to show current track/last play tracks?
Ok its been a while since I ran this. Can't get the script to connect to the server. this is what I got for the test file <?php require_once('steamcaststream.php'); $steamcast = new SteamcastStream('http://play.futureassassin.com:8000/auto.mp3', 'admin_user', 'admin_pass'); if ($steamcast->retrieve_...

Re: CPU going high 100%+
Well sopke too soon. Just happened again but not sure how I can detect when it happens to see if its a track that is causing it or something else. It never happned when going from MP3 to OGG.
I guess I can write the tmux output to file then check when is starts to go high.
