today one of my servers went offline ("not online") and the total still added the 24 listeners on that server before it went offline. I had to delete the offline server to get the count back to normal. I never noticed this before, maybe it has something to do with the new release?

600 sec intervale??

today, both my trb and my friend's started logging every 600 seconds. There is no way to change it back to 30 seconds that I can find. modifying the ini is futile, it is changed back to 600 by rtb. It isn't logging all songs that were played because of this. Why has this happened, and when will I be...

multiple instances

sometimes i have a habit of clicking the shortcut on the desktop in a futile attempt to maximize RTB. Instead it loads a bastard 2nd instance that hides on the system tray. Attempting to open or right click it yields nothing. Sometimes it will come to its senses and open up later on its own, allowin...

sound blaster live & shoutcast

Ever since upgrading the drivers on my sound blaster live a month ago I have had endless trouble shoutcasting with the soundcard input. sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. the symptoms are an "electric" sounding type of distortion which comes and goes in the live stream. What I hea...

great software!

I have been using RTB seemingly forever -- i don't know what i would do without it.. well i might be exagerating a little but anyways, i have only one gripe. Leaky handles. I run RTB on my shoutcast source and after a week or so, the Win2k machine picks up an extra ~3000 handles which disappear when...

i considered using toolbox, but I cannot rely on my webserver to serve up my station, it seems to randomly cut out after 10-20 minutes of listening probably due to the cpu load of hosting 250+ other websites - it's never consistant. Perfect for on-demand, but I shudder at the idea of relaying my str...

I am working on a set of scripts which should allow the shoutcast DNAS in RIPONLY mode to work in a subscriber environment. After the user has payed, they will be able to login with a username and password to a php front end. Once logged in, the IP will be stored in the RIP file for a few minutes, a...
