So, loudcity looks like a good deal, but it doesn't look like I can use it with your steamcast or the icecast directory.

Correct?

most services like that require that your publishing point be ONLY their directory. So you couldn't list on anything but loudcity.com to stay covered.

I guess I have to use their launch page, but it specifically says the shoutcast directory is fine (with their "pro" package). This looked like a good deal to me. Looks like you could get royalties for a pretty decent station for $100 a month. A lot better than the $7000 a year, which was for a 40 slot station buying the normal way.

Looks like about 60 or 70 slots for a little more than $100.

You might want to take a look a this Jay. I was surprised about shoutcast being ok too.

if that is the case then i guess they finally worked out a deal with the royalty associations. I know they had been working on getting that capability. You might ask them if it applies to other search directories.
