Post by Kane »

I'm just wondering if someone here is using WinAmp 3 for the radio and if it's possible.
And if possibel, is it better then Winamp 2.x :?:

check out oddcast v2 at www.oddsock.org

it works in Winamp3, I do not use it however so I cannot comment as to whether it is better.

not sure what you mean by that?

Radio Toolbox interacts with the server not the source client.

wow, hehe, I'm feeling very dumb now... :?

is this Oddstoc a program that works like Radio ToolBox or is it a server like Shoutcast ? Or.. Isn't Shoutcast a server ?

Or is this a plugin for Winamp 3 that works like the DSP plugin for Shoutcast ?

Damn, you must be a genius, you got me confused ...

Damn it! I tested this oddstock thingy and downloaded the LAME Encoder and everything, I found out I could use Radio Toolbox for it and was happy until I found out that The Song title doesn't come out on the server in WinAmp 3, I know it isn't Radio ToolBox because on the song title doesn't come on the http://localhost:8000 webpage and when I got a dude from irc test it and do ampstats it returned like this:
[15:37:16] <********> Er að Spila - (Radio Danni)

And then there is no use in RTB so I guess I have to go to the old WA 2 again. Anyways, thanx for your help :)
