crossfading plugins for shoutcast

Post by sound selecta »

Do these work for non live streams? If you can use it with shoutcast does it work well stacked with other dsp plugins?

 We have not had very good luck with the crossfade programs they sound cool on our end but like shit on the other end, plus they have a tendency to jam us up.....

When people ask me this question, I just tell them to go get MP3Trim and trim up your music all nice and tight, then your music will just seem to blend together so nicely. We did that with XRM when it was around and it sounded great. Of course it takes mucho time, took me upwards of over 15 hours to do a 6 hour playlist, but it was well worth it.

Crossfade

I haven't had any problems getting the SQRSoft crossfader to work alone on my stream. From what most people tell me, it's using a stacker with the sqrsoft fader, that there are problems.
