Multiple Problems

Post by OGX_RudeDog »

I have a couple issues I hope to get figured out soon..

1. Although my songs show up, I get a "u" rather than "Play" "All" or "Radio"...

2. When WinAmp opens, it shows up with the link to the file that is playing. If there are multiple files, it will have the file name correctly until it is up to be played.

All my songs are in the list and show subdirectories correctly, it's just the play links and what shows up in WinAmp

Here is the link to my MP3 ToolBox:

http://radio.o-g-x.com/shoutcast/conten ... /index.php

all files for mp3 toolbox exist in one directory... With music in subdirectories of the mp3 toolbox directory....

Here is my config file:
/***********************/
/* Basic Configuration */
/***********************/

*/
$source_dir[0] = "./shoutcast/content/rudedog";
$category[0] = "OGX_RudeDog's Playlist";

/* Private Server: This setting tells Radio Toolbox that only authorized viewers are allowed
to view the contents of the index or listen or download the streams. To add accounts to
the mp3 toolbox private server mode, use the authlist.php file. Private Server mode should
be considered experimental. It also uses Basic HTTP authorization. So any client wishing to
listen to content must have a player which supports HTTP authorization (i.e. Winamp)

Any ideas?

I'm hoping to get this issue fixed so that I can start work on getting this imported into my Nuke site... That, by the way, does some wierd stuff with my winamp right now (plus the listen links not showing up correctly). If ya wanna take a look for the fun of it.....

But like I said, that is just a side project I hope to get worked out..

I just visited your links and did not see this occuring Dir All and Radio Showed up as well as the Listen links to your songs

this is because you have debug turned on and have not made the mp3toolbox directory world writable, at the very least you need to make a debug.txt file and make it writable by all on your system.

My winamp is showing the songs correctly now, not sure what happened there. But I still only see "U's" for links....

I have included a screen shot of what I see.

The other stuff I'm not even going to worry about right now, that's just a project I hope to get working (I've never played with php before other than installing premade forums and nuke sites). However, comma, I did reset the permissions and getting a debug.txt now..

Image

Sorry about the width, but I thought it would be appropriate to get it all..

hmmm that is strange have you altered the skin file or the PHP script in anyway? The U's are coming from the language portion of the skin file.

I haven't altered at all except for the config file....

And the project thing doesn't alter it either..... It is just an include statement in a different file....

well the following variables are involved in the language processing of the script

$lang[]
$skin_data[]

something is changing one of them, have you tried removing the include statement to see if the 'U' fixes itself? Have you tried reinstalling the mp3toolbox script?

My guess would be PHP Nuke is overriding one of the lang variables. Probably trying to use the same variable for nuke and mp3 toolbox.
