WebRanger dropped from steamcast directory.

Steamcast is a stand alone server that combines the features of SHOUTcast and Icecast2 and more to make one mega awesome server.

WebRanger dropped from steamcast directory.

Post by webranger »

Here's today's steamcast bug report. During the night WebRanger TV dropped from the steamcast directory. It was still listed at shoutcast and xiph.

Restarting steamcast cured the problem.

A grep showed communication to steamcast happening with the wonderful "unknown error" message.

My other "City of Roses" radio streams remained intact with exactly (except port) the same steamcast.conf file.

.72... just upgraded and still testing.... looks mostly good...

Good enough to use in production while testing.

Any idea why subtitles aren't passing through steamcast?. I have 3 instances of sc_nsv running. 2 feeding shoutcast and 1 to steamcast.

They are identical and use the same subtitle.txt file. No subtitles on steamcast.

steamcast has no way to "remove" subtitles, so it is probably a source problem. Besides subtitles work fine on XRM TV which is using steamcast as well.

Hmmm... I'll have to look closer, all the sc_nsv(1-3).conf files are identical except for port and IP.
