Steamcast is a stand alone server that combines the features of SHOUTcast and Icecast2 and more to make one mega awesome server.

I thought so.

By the way, how do I find out what the address to my station is?

well if you are going to broadcast out to the internet you will have to setup your linksys router to allow steamcast to accept connections. This is done by using the port forward feature of your router.

Once you have that you can list on steamcast or shoutcast and tune in from there. Or you can go to the Online Tools section of this site and use the Find IP tool to get your IP that way.

you'd have to contact oddsock on his forums about that. I have no real dealings with it, all I know is you have to have the correct version and it has to be in the winamp directory. Not the plugins directory if I remember right. Otherwise you can try using the SHOUTcast dsp plugin, it will work with steamcast as well if all you want is an mp3 stream.
