Shoutcast error: nak (100)?

Steamcast is a stand alone server that combines the features of SHOUTcast and Icecast2 and more to make one mega awesome server.

Shoutcast error: nak (100)?

Post by kqlz »

Hello,
I just started to get this:

Code: Select all

<yp.shoutcast.com> error: nak (100)
<205.188.234.163> Connection Opened (A: 69.9.32.186:8000/) [L: 41] {UA: SHOUTcast Directory Tester}
<205.188.234.163> Request: / {UA: Mozilla}
<yp.shoutcast.com> added me successfully! (id: 129573503 | tchfrq: 3)
<205.188.234.163> Connection Closed [L: 40] {398580 bytes} (69 secs) RE: No Data Flow Timeout
I get this over and over again.

Now I have a Shoutcast DNAS on the same server different port and I'm not having any errors with it.

I searched the shoutcast forums but what I found does not seem to be a YP issue.
Or am I incorrect?

Are they blocking Steamcast from listing?
I know Jay would be the one to know this answer.

Thanks
John

As far as I know, no they are not blocking.

Does restarting steamcast solve it?

Also make sure you are using version 0.9.73

I'm using the new version with audio/aacp

Now I'm getting:

Code: Select all

<yp.shoutcast.com> error: nak (Cannot see your station/computer (IP: 69.9.32.186:8000) from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache (Connection timed out))
There is about 50 shoutcast servers on that box (MC1 server) and none are giving any errors.

But it's still listed on the YP with current song info.
That is strange.

John
