So far so good. This is on a new server for me. Redhat Enterprise 3. It lists on the shoutcast directory just fine. One thing I noticed is it's reporting the wrong data rate for the relay.

Actually, you can look yourself.

http://mybeausejour.com:8500/ is what I stream to, and it correctly reports 48kbps.

http://mybeausejour.com:8000 is what I use for the public server, and it relays the 8500 one. It reports 131kbps.

I still need to test disconnecting and reconnecting, I used to have a problem with that on my older redhat server. It had to do with the YP services, if they were off, it was stable.

yup not much has changed and steamcast was developed to handle any streamable data type much the way shoutcast already works.
