Post by themixturemedia »

Hey there Jay Steamcast is crashing once a day now and I am not sure what is wrong. Here is what I am running with it right now Winamp 5.12, Oddcast 3.1.6 and Steamcast 0.9.73. I am not sure if anyone else is having this problem or not.

if you can figure out what is causing it so I can duplicate then I can fix it. Also be sure to indicate which OS you run on.

The Problem

Post by themixturemedia »

Hey there Jay I am running Windows XP SP2. Since we have been listed on iTunes we have been maxing out on users about 80% of the time. I am not shure if that is it or not but that is the only thing I can maybe think of.

Just A Thought

Post by themixturemedia »

Hey there Jay just a thought to add into the next version of Steamcast. Could u not added the ability to send a report when Steamcast crashes like XP does?? This would be a really good idea so you could see what is going on....just a thought.

unfortunately most of those reports are useless to me and the code is multiplatform so adding debugging is a bit difficult. If I can find a good debug class to add I may do it at some point.
