Steamcast is a stand alone server that combines the features of SHOUTcast and Icecast2 and more to make one mega awesome server.

Second channel do not apper in yp.

Post by derdau »

I have defined a second source. The source is active, I can watch the channel by entering its adress direct in winamp. But then channel is not listed in then yellow pages. Why not?

Here the configuration of then second source:

SourceMount=/bitscherstrasse.nsv
SourceUser=xxxxxxx
SourcePass=xxxxxxx
SourceUserMax=200
; SourceRelay: This particular mount will pull data from the location specified below.
; If you publish both servers on yp.shoutcast.com and wish that they cluster at that
; yp server then enter your relay url without http:// or trailing path or slashes
; like the example below.
; SourceRelay=audio.str3am.com:4080
; SourceAvgBitrateLimit=128
SourceIsSC=Yes
; SourceNameFormat=%s powered by Steamcast
SourceIsDefault=No
; SourceIP=123.45.67.89
; SourceAuth=No
; SourceAuthMax=0
; SourceListenerTimer=0
; SourcePublic=Default
; SourcePublicRelays=Yes
; SourceRawKey=rawdata
; SourceBuffUtil=100

the source appears to be telling the server to keep the stream private, or you may have overridden this option in the steamcast configuration file. Check the SourcePublic option and refer to your source configuration.

that looks normal. the warnings are not important and will not stop steamcast from running properly.

Simply connect a source and you should be ready to go.
