Using Darkice/Darksnow with Steamcast(linux)

Post by garybrlow » Tue Sep 26, 2006 1:05 pm

Has anyone actually tried using Darkice/Darksnow as a stream client with Steamcast. I can seem to make it work if it actualy does. A little light on a subject would be great. :)

Thanks.

steamcast accepts either icecast or shoutcast source programs so you should be able to so long as you use either of those two protocols.

It actually works. I just had a misconfiguration in the audio stream options. :)

BTW is it just me or the shoutcast directory doesn't list anyomre despite the recommended settings.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks.
