a good feature to add is the "Rehash" server to apply new steamcast.conf changes without restart the server
(likes the irc servers)

already is in there
You can SIGUSR1 the server or you can call admin.cgi?mode=rehash
There are several untested things regarding this feature which is why I haven't really publicized it's existence.
