winamp3 beta works shit !

i was trying the winamp3 beta
my feeling was ok till i try it the plugins are not working..
the audio directsound plugin is bad!
if you stream audio from the net with it...
also its not possible to activate your normal winamp plugins!
the best of winamp3 beta is the skins!
try it yourself and tell me what you think of it.

well the guys at Nullsoft have stated that it's primary purpose for now is to be good as a personal MP3 player so they have focused heavily on the customization aspects of it. Shoutcast support is not quite finished and they have stated that it will not be finished until a release. They have also said that Winamp 2.x plugins will not be supported in the next version unless some third party makes a component for them.

Winamp beta 3 (as it says from the site) is "mainly for those who want to develop skins. Although it has minimal SHOUTCast Support, it has many bugs and the common user should not use it."

There you have it. You seriously should get Winamp 2.8 back if you can. Winamp 3 is gonna be cool though (I just got it !)
