Streaming on Mac

Post by Keiichi »

I have read that only audion works for mac to stream for shoutcast. The only drawback is it is no longer supported by the creators. So no updates, no fixes, nada. So where does that leave mac users? Or is streaming just a windows only option? If anyone has any help for me that would be great.

you could alway use sc_trans from the shoutcast be a dj section. It's command line only though.

The Mixture Media Radio:
The best on-line music from the 60's,70's,80's,90's and today. Streaming at 64kbps/48khz (MP3) and 32kbps/44khz (Ogg) 24 hours a day 7 days a week. With great sound and even better music.

thanks for the info, I have searched over and over for stuff, could only find audion. I really don't need an mp3 streamer since most of my broadcasters are djs spinning vinyl live. Just need a program to put the signal out for my mac users. Most will use shoutcast.
