On Demand streaming and pls files
I am trying to use ShoutCast to stream some MP3s. While this seems to work ok, with something like http://localhost:8000/content/scpromo.mp3 I loose the nice ability to add a title and such.
No big deal, I create a .pls file, and point WinAmp to it. Hey, it reads my title. Oooo...yuck, when I play the option, it shows the actual MP3 file (again). Any way around this?
OK, to streaming MP3s will work for WinAmp, Windows Media, and Real Audio, however, when I use the .pls file, WM says that the data was not correct, and RA plays about the first second of the audio and stops (kins of, it says it still is playing it, but doesn't show anything playing). Ideas?
