Centos 6.5 rather than 7.0
Centos 6.5 rather than 7.0
Hey all,
Steamcast 1.0.0, is there any possibility it will be recompiled to run under Centos 6.5 rather than 7.0?
I know this is a glibc issue, so not sure if the older glib will allow this.
In my environment I am on Centos 6.5, and 7.0 still to this day has a lot of compatibility issues with other important apps I have on this server
If this is not possible, I will have to wait for the resolutions to my 7.0 issues
Thanks

Hi,
Steamcast is compiled with GCC 4.8. Unfortunately, this is a requirement due to the code being written in C++11 standard.
I will see if I can do a static compile for Steamcast using updated GCC from Devtoolset 2.x and get it to work in CentOS 6.
