You need to specify the mount, for example:

http://ip.address:port/live.mp3

How can I use the mount when I use Shoutcast Source to webcast as per the following image http://lebec.2y.net:90/RadioToolbox2.jpg The port being on 8350 it automatically starts the Steamcast Server also set to port 8350
It does the same for the Shoutcast Server (port 8250) and the Peercast Server (port 7144) that are outputs 1 and 2
The funny part of it all is that RadioToolbox sees the server as being "offline" but anyone can connect to it through http://lebec.dynip.com:8350/listen.pls
See copy of the administration panel from Steamcast http://lebec.2y.net:90/radiotoolbox3.jpg

Steamcast is not a shoutcast server in that it has the capability of handling more then one source. You simply are running in shoutcast compatibility mode which means that people can connect to one of your sources via the index like a shoutcast server. The stats generated by steamcast are still mount specific. You can find the sourcemount name by looking in the configuration file for sourcemount= of by logging into the webpanel admin page and looking at the source table. The mount is the second column.

by default it is live.mp3 so if you never set one then try using /live.mp3

You can also setup multiple source and mount points by adding more SourceMount= to your configuration file.

As far as the what source you use, Steamcast is agnostic when it comes to the source. It will use the username or password in this case to align the source to a particular mount.

What bothers me is that it works perfectly and the server can be seen both by Shoutcast and Steamcast directories. In fact the only drawback for me is that it does not appear to be on line with RadioToolbox. What should I change for it to work? Not use the Shoutcast Source? But it is so useful and trouble free that way! It starts all the servers without any problems and they are seen to users where they should be seen in each directory where they should be listed !!! If it's only RadioToolbox that does not accept it that way is it worth while changing the setup?

As I said Steamcast doesn't work it's stats that way. You have to specify the mount point. Also you should notice that steamcast and icecast's yp directories are also using the mount point? Why should you change anything but Radio Toolbox? Just add the mount point and all will work fine. Steamcast doesn't need to be changed.
