Redirecting a Kicked ip

Is there a script or some way to redirect a kicked ip to an alternate non-public Steamcast stream. This could be a very low bitrate audio loop with message. At that point I would ban any ip that stayed on the loop-node afer xx minutes.

nope, the protocal provides no method to redirect after the header.

OJ... then how about those that are in the ban list can they be redirected?

Also am really starting to like Steamcast!!

yea it would be just a simple header addition to redirect a banned user, but where would you redirect them to and how should that be specified?

FYI it will be up to the client to honor the redirection.

What I was thinking is sending to a Shoutcast dnas with a loop saying why they are there. Those listeners that feel they are there by mistake can contackt Station admin. Hence the permant ban listing would be on that server. Something like that... it also makes use of that Shoutcast server I no longer use
