Love Steamcast but I have a few questions!

First off Steamcast has been great to me. All the ease of use of a Shoutcast server with the more powerful features and file types: I love it.

In the admin section, there is a part entitled 'user tables' where I set username, passwords, and mounts. As there is no part for a username in SAM3, I'm not really sure what this feature does. Is it possible for me to have seperate username/passwords for all my DJs (I'd like them to be on the same mount if possible)?

Also my station plays for a private community and I'm not real interested in reaching just anyone. Is there a way to password protect my stream so that the station is private?

that table is for user authentication, it has nothing to do with your source.

The SourceAuth Feature would set the protect bit on the stream and require users to be in the user table before they could get into the stream.
