huge delay

troubles....

How do i reduce the delay/lagg the stream.
Now the delay is like 3 to 4 minutes, iknow theres a 1mb buffer. but cant i minimize the delay. in shoucast i only had 20 / 30 seconds.
This was kinda reducable by putting the bitrate higher, but that wont work in steamcast

the SourceBufferUtil is what you want, however last I checked i think I might have broke it. Should be fixed by next version.

Just incase your still having delay problems I am still using the SourceBufferUtil with different settings for different sources on v0.9.73b and they all seem to have to have the proper delay according to the amount of extra buffer that steamcast is setup for, so SourceBufferUtil should still be working.

i finally got to fix the server.

ireduced the delays to 6 / 8 seconds.... I set the buffer on 2 dunno what that exactly means

but its working

it is a percentage of the buffer. The buffer is currently 1MB

However, i may be lowering that down to 512KB as most streams (even video) are never bigger then that.
