Real Audio Tool

Post by macfive »

I was wondering if anyone had information or knows were to look to obtain information on the real audio tool that shoutclub use to offer.

It allowed your shoutcast stream to be launched by real audio, but for this to work, apparently a script was stored on the shoutclub cgi-bin directory.

This stopped working for me a few weeks again, so I would appreciate if someone has this script so I could install it on my own server.

What was cool about it was the fact that it allowed me to create my own branded radio player.

Thanks for you help!

if you look at the source of the embedded object code, just replace all http://www.shoutclub.com/cgi-bin....etc with a url to your own pls or m3u file containing your streams urls. If you don't have one you can use Winamp or Radio ToolBox to generate one for you.

I don't know but my embedded player is still working as fine as it did from the first day. I hope my big mouth doesn't cause my player to stop working, Jay, but I had to tell macfive  .

If you want to try the embedded player is at http://www.lavela.com.mx, click on Transmisión on the radio dial and then click on the Audio icon.

Ok, I got the realplayer to work once again. But I would still like to host this script on my site.

How do I get a copy the script that is on your server in this location?
