Project RTB

Post by Jay »

After careful consideration we have decided to start over again. We are starting a purely developmental site specifically designed for Webcasters. The ShoutClub Name will not be a part of this new site. We feel that ShoutClub served a totally different purpose then how we feel we want to fit in. The new site is code named RTB. This new site contains a business model that will hopefully keep the site afloat and make it more useful to the webcasting community then ShoutClub ever could have been.

ShoutClub seemed couterproductive for me and the rest of the community. I started invisioning something that would be better for you guys as well as us in the long run.

I wish I could tell you the hundreds of changes that are coming around the corner for many of the services you know about in this industry. Within six months things will look totally different and you will understand completely why I did what I did.

This new site will use some of the same backend archetecture which I created for shoutclub but it will be more focused around maintaining your website presence rather then ours. I think that if you liked ShoutClub's services you will LOVE the stuff I am putting together.

Sorry to be so cryptic about what is going on, but i have to protect my ideas. When it is ready I will have a full explanation of all the features and what you can do with this new service. You will not be disappointed. HEH, I am getting excited just writing about it. :D

If you need any help I would also like to volunteer!

Are you still speaking at Conxis? Will I see you there?

Jay-

I am glad that you did not give up on us. You and your staff did such a great job with Shoutclub. I am sure you will do the same here.

Although I miss Shoutclub very much, I am sure that I will be able to learn a lot here too. :D
