encoder to use for a Steamcast stream/streaming provider
encoder to use for a Steamcast stream/streaming provider
As far as plugins to add to Winamp for encoding Steamcast streams...
The Oddcast and Oddsock links are broken at: http://www.radiotoolbox.com/docs/index. ... 4&doc_id=5
What other encoder would we use, or what encoder/plug-in combination do we need for encoding a Steamcast stream, especially one that is easy to feed metadata into?
And who are streaming providers that are doing a good job of hosting Steamcast streams?

You can use any SHOUTcast v1, Icecast 2 capable encoder.
So if you want to use something in Winamp simply download their DSP encoder and make sure it is in legacy mode.
