I use a DUC and free domain name from http://www.no-ip.com/ to link directly to my computer. Every time I reboot my computer, the Dynamic Uptade Client sends my current IP to their DNS and links http://drakkradio.servemp3.com/ to my IP address so I can host my website off my computer. It works well for people hosting a radio station part time like me and my friends.

PM me if you are interested in joining my ring of hobbyist radio stations. (Still gotta get some guys to make their websites though  )

It isn't all that hard, just make an account under your email address, register a domain name, download the client, input your email and password into the client, put a checkmark in the domain name and the client updates the link. It took me 5 minutes to set it up.

As for there being a script, I seriously doubt that it would be possible to write a script for that due to the fact that your friend has a dynamic IP. Even if it was possible, it would still involve your friend running a client of some sort to automaticaly update the link. Other than that you're still stuck updating it automaticaly unless you take the link straight from http://yp.shoutcast.com/ which remains static until you change the information for your station (Genre, Bitrate, Description, URL, etc.) and you still aren't directly linking to your friends computer.
