Problem connecting to steamcast from local network. (Steamcast + Ezstream or Ices)

We will need to see how the source is attempting to connect to Steamcast and why Steamcast thinks of it as a listener rather than a source.

I'm having exactly the same problem. I just moved to ubuntu 18.04 and unfortunately the old steamcast does not start anymore (0.98 it was) because of following error.

Fatal error: glibc detected an invalid stdio handle
Aborted

Our setup relies heavily on a backup and a DJ stream which is fed from local server.
I'm quite desperate, because I now can't go back to 14.04 and steamcast 1.02 does not work as the 0.98 did because of the described bug.
What can I do now?
