Router Problem

Post by LiLGuru7 »

Hi!

I trying to start up a online streaming radio but I'm having problems trying to get my router to cooperate. I'm using the D-Link DI-614+. Here is the error I get:

<12/23/03@21:00:15> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (Cannot see your station/computer (IP: 68.161.192.124:8000) from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache (Connection timed out))

Here is my setup:

DSL
|
DI-614+
| |
PC1 PC2 (Shoutcast Server)

How do I setup this router to work with broadcasting? I don't want to use DMZ because I don't want to exploit my computer.

Thanks!

Use Port Forwarding instead and forward your base port as well as base port +1 if your source is outside your network.
